Yves-Marie Rault-Chodankar
As an Associate Professor (Maitre de Conférences) at Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, I teach courses related to the development dynamics of the Global South, including within the Master’s degree program DynPED. Additionnally, I hold the position of Associate Researcher at Prodig, a Paris-based laboratory focused on geography. I have conducted extensive fieldworks in India and possess expertise in qualitative methods, data analysis, and development studies. I am passionate about understanding the complex dynamics of social, economic, and technological change in the Global South. My current research focuses on regional industrial development, analyzing the evolving role of emerging countries (Brazil, India, South Africa) within global value chains, particularly in the pharmaceutical sector.
